The Nutrition & Dietetic Department is a large forward thinking department based across 2 acute hospital sites and is currently managed in 6 teams.

We are looking to recruit to a Specialist Band 6 Surgical Head & Neck dietitian post. The post holder will be based within the surgical dietetic team based at Castle Hill Hospital.

A full competency led training and support package will be provided to ensure you can develop your knowledge and skills in head & neck surgery, as well as opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in other areas including parenteral nutrition, other elective surgeries and critical care.

The post holder will have a varied caseload and will be working in established multi-disciplinary teams in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

You will have the opportunity to support student dietitians on their placements as we are an established B and C Placement provider. You will also be able to develop and take part in staff teaching and support the team in audit and service developments.

Hull University Teaching Hospitals provide a comprehensive range of acute services from two hospital sites with an extended catchment population of 1.3 million people. The department has strong links with the Universities of Hull and York, Leeds Beckett University and with the British Dietetic Association.

Applicants must be HCPC registered dietitians or due to obtain registration.
