SENIOR LECTURER IN NUTRITION AND DIETETICS
£45,361 – £49,553 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics to join the Department of Clinical Sciences and Nutrition at the University of Chester.
We are currently restructuring our Nutrition and Dietetics programmes to align with the University’s expansion into medical education and we are looking for a qualified Dietitian with clinical experience to join our team.
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Nutrition and Dietetics. You may be expected to contribute to the teaching or assessment on programmes in the department e.g. Obesity and Weight Management, Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation or Public Health Nutrition.
You should have a degree in nutrition and dietetics, a higher degree in a relevant subject area, hold or be eligible for HCPC Dietetics registration, and have previous experience of teaching and learning in Higher Education. You will have excellent organisation and communication abilities, proven interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team. An emerging or developing research profile is also desirable.
