Are you interested in shaping services in the NHS to deliver caring, safe and excellent services within a multidisciplinary team who shares these values to deliver maximum benefits for patients.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your dietetic skills learnt across community and acute settings and be responsible for implementing project work focused on a food first approach to managing malnutrition in the community.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the Medicines Optimisation Team as a Prescribing Support Dietitian. The successful applicant will be a part of a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, nurses and dietetic assistant.  This post provides a great opportunity for someone who enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of health and social care professionals, working across the care and nursing homes, GP practices and NHS POD and lead on nutritional issues within the Medicines Optimisation Team. The postholder will work closely with the local acute and community dietetic team.

Our large and expanding department is dynamic and forward thinking, with excellent administrative support and IT facilities. Car driver is essential. This is a full time, permanent position and the postholder will be based at the Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group. We are committed to promoting work-life balance and would consider flexible working for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your clinical knowledge learnt at band 5 and to develop skills in leadership and commissioning in a well-established and respected Medicines Optimisation Team.

We offer comprehensive continuing professional development opportunities including potential for completing the non-medical prescribing qualification.

This post is also being advertised as a band 7 dependant on experience.
