Nutritionist
An opportunity has arisen for a Nutritionist to join our Sports Medicine & Exercise Science Team providing our Players with scientific evidence-based information and guidance about the impacts of food and nutrition on their health, well-being, and performance. The role will be broadly based on working 32 hours each week which will include being on site at the training ground as well as travelling with the Team to home & away matches. You will be responsible for the nutritional support and testing to the First Team squad as well as providing support and advice to our academy players. You will be required to review and advance our current FFC nutritional philosophy, providing the players with individually bespoke programmes, whilst providing a high level of educational support too. You will also be required to contribute to the educational nutritional artwork around the training ground and stadium, providing reinforcement to the FFC philosophy.
As a minimum you will hold an undergraduate & postgraduate degree in Nutritional Science accredited by AfN. You will have demonstrable experience of working within professional team sports and as part of a multi-disciplinary team; previous experience within football would be advantageous.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to converse with and influence a wide range of people.
