The Team: What we do

The Diabetes Centre is seeking experienced NZ Registered Dietitians to join their multi-disciplinary team.

This exciting and challenging role will capitalise on your passion for education as well as your ability to enthuse your patients and motivate real behaviour change. You’ll be working in an outpatient setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team, liaising with health providers and you’ll be driven to ensure best health outcomes for people living with diabetes.

The Role: Where you fit in

You will provide nutritional assessment and education to patients, both one on one and in group situations, so will need to be able to engage with people in a variety of settings. Ideally you will have experience with both type 1 and type 2 patients and a knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems.

We are looking for self-motivated dietitians who enjoy a challenge, are results-driven and have high level of organisational skills. You will be a team-player with a willingness to operate as an educational resource for health professionals and building relationships with patients supporting their self-management successes and challenges.
