Are you interested in a career in the field of eating disorders? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Dietitian to join our innovative service which supports young people and their families in the management of and recovery from Eating Disorders.
We are looking to recruit a Band 5/6 CAMHS Eating Disorders Specialist Dietitian into our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will work alongside the Lead Dietitian and Specialist Dietitian who currently provide input to the North Yorkshire and York Eating Disorders Service .
The Eating Disorder Service operates across North Yorkshire and York; the post holder will be based in Dragon Parade Clinic, Harrogate , and will provide a dietetic service to York and Northallerton, with the multidisciplinary Eating Disorders Team. Travel costs included.
Candidates should be a registered Dietitian with significant experience in Dietetics, including experience working with service users with mental illness and/ or learning disabilities and complex needs, preferably eating disorders. They should have excellent communication and IT skills. A working knowledge of motivational interviewing would be desirable. Supervision will be provided by the Lead Dietitian for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Eating Disorders and there will be a strong emphasis on Continued Professional Development and specialist training.
We would consider applicants at Band 5 level in progression to a Band 6.
