An exciting new vacancy has arisen within the Moray Nutrition & Dietetics team for a suitably qualified Band 5 Dietitian.
From our two office bases in Elgin, the team provides an integrated adult and paediatric nutrition & dietetics service both for Dr Gray’s Hospital (acute services) and for the wider Moray community area which includes three community hospitals and many care homes.
As well as carrying out home visits and outpatient clinics, our team members liaise closely with all acute service teams, community care teams and also our third sector partners on all aspects of nutritional care planning and provision for our service users.
This post will include opportunities to gain professional experience in several dietetic specialism areas eg. gastroenterology and diabetes, under the supervision of highly experienced senior staff.
Our department has recently undergoing a period of redesign and this post will provide an integral clinical aspect to our future service plans and to the department’s profile as AHP leaders within Moray’s integrated health and social care partnership.
We would welcome applications from either newly qualified dietitians who are keen to get their career started with a forward thinking team, or from dietitians who already have some professional experience but would like to further progress their career as part of our skilled and dedicated team in this beautiful area of Scotland.
