Community Dietitian – Band 6

We have an exciting opportunity within our Community Nutrition and Dietetics department for a new band 6 community dietitian to join our team on a permanent basis. The post holder will help to provide a dietetic service to both adults and children across Oxfordshire in the provision of home enteral feeding, community-based clinics, patient education sessions and exciting project work. You will have experience of working in various primary care settings or making the change from secondary care, have excellent communication and training skills as well as being flexible to align services with the changing demands on the NHS, such as increased digital working. You join a friendly, high profile and dynamic community dietetics team who are focused on best practice, service development and patient centred care, evidenced by outcomes.
The Community Dietetic Department, hosted by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides a countywide service to patients within Oxfordshire in their own homes, care homes and some community hospital input. There is a commitment to personal development and CPD and an expectation that all staff are involved in departmental project work, audit/research and teaching of other healthcare professionals. All staff are actively involved in student training as well as supporting B5’s and DA’s.
