Bermuda opportunity. Located on the beautiful island of Bermuda, Island Nutrition Limited is looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian. We are expanding our services and require a Clinical Outpatient/Community Dietitian with experience in both General Paediatric Outpatients and General Adult Outpatients. Clinical Outpatient/Community Dietitian – Paediatric and Adult

Applicants should have the experience and ability to manage a widely varied caseload, focusing on paediatrics in general outpatient and community settings; particularly weight management, failure to thrive, feeding challenges, allergies and gastrointestinal issues. In addition the caseload includes general adult outpatients including weight management, the management and prevention of cardiovascular diseases including HTN, hyperlipidaemia, Diabetes and early CKD.

Experience in delivering the X-PERT Diabetes programmes would be of benefit

Must have experience of working in an outpatient and/or community setting

NHS equivalent Band 6 or above

Applicants must be registered with the Bermuda Council for Allied Health Professionals or be eligible to register. Non-Bermudians must also be registered in the UK.

Must have a relevant degree in Nutrition and Dietetics

Must have familiarity with electronic medical records

Must have or be willing to obtain a Bermuda drivers license (car or bike), if needed

Some flexibility of working hours to accommodate patients over a 35 hour working week, within usual office opening hours between 8am-6pm

Applicant must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously and to the highest standard.

1 Year contract, which may be extended for the right candidate, pending immigration approval.
