We welcome you to join our Dietetic Service in Dumfries & Galloway. We are a friendly, proactive Dietetic Service in rural south west Scotland.
This is a rotational post with opportunities to cover surgical, medical, rehabilitation, care of the elderly, diabetes, renal, mental health and community nutrition support. The posts will work within acute, community and mental health teams to provide nutritional support to people across the region.
We are strongly committed to ongoing training and support for CPD and quality improvement. There is regular time to connect with others professionally and within multi-disciplinary forums. Opportunities for flexible and remote working to balance work and life are available.
You will participate in student training and provide cover for triage as required.
The posts are initially based within our new built district general hospital, opened 2 ½ years ago. This is based on the western outskirts of the town and ensures NHS Dumfries & Galloway staff continue to provide high quality clinical care to the people of Dumfries & Galloway in a modern facility.
Dumfries and Galloway area offers beautiful countryside from rugged cliffs and sandy beaches to forests and hills. There are accessible towns and plenty of fresh open spaces that offer a wide range of outdoor activities. Dumfries and Galloway is linked centrally within 2 hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Lake District and Newcastle.
